Pedro Roldán Molina was born in Rute (Córdoba) on 27 October 1954. From an early age he took his first drawing classes, winning several local painting prizes and a national award at the age of eight. He continued his studies in Barcelona, where he developed his entire career surrounded by Modernist and Impressionist influences, alongside the great creators of the last decade of the twentieth century — among them the Catalan figurative painter González Carbonell, for whom he had great admiration.
His works have travelled throughout Spain and beyond its borders, particularly in the USA and Central Europe, forming part of private and institutional collections. He now lives in Granada.
